Proper management of erosion and sediment is crucial for maintaining the integrity of any construction or landscaping project. Without diligent control, soil erosion can lead to severe environmental damage, negatively impacting surrounding ecosystems and water bodies. Booking a professional erosion and sediment control service is an essential step in safeguarding your project against these challenges. At FPS, we have a GSWCC Level 1B certified professional on erosion and sediment control on each of our job sites.

Experienced teams utilize cutting-edge techniques to stabilize soil, prevent landslides, and minimize sediment runoff. This not only protects vegetation but also helps maintain local biodiversity by preventing harmful materials from entering nearby water sources. Additionally, implementing effective erosion controls can save money in the long term by avoiding costly fines associated with environmental regulation breaches.

By investing in professional services, you're ensuring that industry-specific regulations are met while promoting sustainable land use practices. Whether it's a small residential update or a large-scale development project, prioritizing proactive measures ensures enhanced site safety and ecological harmony around your site location.

Cale was fantastic! What initially seemed like a simple job, ended up being far more complicated. Cale was open, honest, and persistent. He was also very personable and humorous. He was able to successfully remove all stumps without damaging any wiring or waterlines. Definitely will hire Cale again for future projects!!

May 30, 2024 Problem: removal of six 50' almost-dead Leyland Cypresses left us and our neighbor a with view of 2500sf of sloping, ready-to-erode soil with stump-grinding craters and associated debris. All factors pointed to HYDROSEEDING as best solution. Called FPS. They came and appraised the situation, including a soil analysis which indicated we had excellent soil conditions. Their estimate was $250 lower than delivery of bermuda sod alone -- installation of which, hired-out, would have been a considerable expense -- or backbreaking for the not-so-young homeowner. The crew arrived on time, contoured and groomed the slope with the Ventrac and its various attachments. Then they hydroseeded, using an amazingly vigorous bermuda turf variety. The sprayed emulsion containing the seeds clung to the slope, and with consistent watering, green blades appeared on day 7. By day 18 grass was 8" tall and demanded mowing. My friendly neighbor -- a golfer and lawn-care fanatic -- was amazed. Great work, done by guys who love their job.
